I was going to get my missus some new running tights for her birthday, was looking at 2XU compression jobs. Can anyone recomend them?
Cheers

  • Yes - they are great at their job however the decals have begun to peel off slightly in places.

Yes, they're great but go to a proper shop and try them on (if you can)

They need to be tight and a pain to get on if you want any benefit (I'm led to believe) I've bought two pairs the same size which had completely different fits. I then bought a third pair which were a smaller size but seemed to have the same fit as one of the bigger sizes.

I train in mine and then might put a clean pair on when I get home, that's why I have three pairs and am not too bothered that one pair doesn't off as much compression.

For running though? There's claimed to be physiological benefits but I wonder. They are restrictive. I use Adidas and Under Armour ones.

    Facebook? No. Just say no.
  • I been using a pair made by Sugoi for recovery after cycling (wear them for 2-3 hours afterwards)and have found them beneficial, reducing muscle stiffness the next day.

Got them in a local running shop, but they are available from here also:

I've had them a couple of months and seem to be wearing well, with decals still intact.
