Sorry I didn't inform you about my Urgent trip to Malaysia for a Program,I am presently in Manchester England now and I had an incident which I can’t handle at the moment, I lost my little bag containing my wallet and my valuables/Mobile Phone on my way to the hotel where I lodged, Have been stressed all night as I have no money on me and really stranded here. I will like you to assist me with a soft loan urgently with the sum of $ 2,800 Dollars to settle my hotel bills here as i owe the hotel and get myself back home. I will appreciate whatever you can afford. And I promise to pay you back once I get home.
kindly look for any western union and send the money with this information below please. As it’s the fastest way I can get the money and leave
Name: Mike Hanus
Address: 12 West Chester Dr. Manchester UK
Please email me the details as soon as you send the money. I wait to read from you soon.

Regards

Mike

  • Well if you ever get into that situation Mr Louse, I hope someone helps you out.

I can't afford the full $2800, but I maxed out my credit card and sent over $700.

We had one of these a couple of years back. Our rep from Singapore had her private email account hacked, and someone sent out one of these "I'm stuck in Africa, send money urgently" type emails. After ensuring that they weren't in Africa, I responded, and got the name and address of the person "acting as their agent". Details handed over to our Embassy in Kenya... Not sure if anything came of it.

To be fair though, 10% of that isn't worth the hassle

I dunno, zim dollars are worth more now than they were when they were legal tender, at one point i had 5000 trillion of them on the wall at home, sold them for a tidy profit, seems people like being able to pull a note out of their wallets saying they have $100 000 000 000 000
