Machynlleth open on Sunday 28th March?

Looking at the MB Wales website, it states that Machynlleth trails are shut on Saturday 28th March. I'm assuming this has been left on from last year as the 28th is a Sunday this year.

I'm planning on a trip there on Sunday, just checking if anyone knows if it's open?

    Just found out that it is indeed closed this weekend due to the Bulldog Rally.

    That's where I stay in Wales and train for the DH races. Which part are you describing as never said where in Machynlleth. Go to The Holey Trail Bike Shop and ask for some tracks, they will know a few tracks.

    We were going to do the Cli-Mach, but are planning on Llandegla now.

    Thanks for the tip though! Machynlleth does seem to be one of the rare forests that actually promotes riding off the marked trails.......like it!
