Follow the dog
Just got back from doing "follow the dog" at cannock chase. to use one word i would say "WET"
lots of ground water and one section was like riding down a river bed, don't know how much rain they had over the last few days but it came down hard most of the day. To be fair to the trail builders though not to much mud, which is always a bit of an energy sapper especialy with me being new to the mtb sceene. all in all first time at the chase, first time on spd's off road, much fun had by all, will return after the new section has opened and the weather has dried up a bit.

Yup. There's one tree root on the section before the fire road climb then that one parallel to Marquis drive. Last section before the 'Chainslapper'0

+1 for that root.
The last time I rode FTD it was precipitating persistently, I would guess the river bed to which the OP is reffering is the chain slapper, might have been better suited to white water rafting.Northwind wrote: It's like I covered it in superglue and rode it through ebay.0 -
