Thanks all for suggestions for a decent hardtail for around a grand...some great suggestions..loved the Scott Scale 50 and the Cube but it's horses for courses and with the best intentions went to buy something with a 120mm fork...however as soon as I saw all its greeness...yep the Crush I feel in love again...I know people have said the the finishing kit ain't all that...I looked at the Scale and was put off by the chain set and Tora fork...so my heart said the Crush..I know that if I would have bought anything else I would have regreted it...so with the £600 I have paid thanks to the scheme....I will upgrade bits and bobs...

Does anyone on here have a Crush...if so what's it like as I have so far only heard good things..

My friend has an 08 crush, but hasn't had it for long. he is very pleaaed with it, the kit is good, except the tyres (about £20 per tyre to replace)
