KMC Connecting Link - 10S vs 10K

I usually buy the 10S for Shimano chains, which is what I think I ordered.

Been sent the 10K for KMC chains. Are they the same? and can be used on Shimano
6700 chains etc?

    Mine been sent the same, seem to work OK. The card they`re on says for KMC chain, the sticker over the top (part number and descrition from CRC) says for Shimano chain, so probably does both.
