Happy Weekend!

Well, I'm working today. Although I do need to pop out in a bit to pick the bike up from the LBS and post the BB from my old cranks.

Postie should be here in a while with some shiney things from CRC (guaranteed sat delivery) and hopefully some other bits too.

    i was going to go to delamere today but it's just too wet. it was raining all evening yesterday and nearly all night and also the whole of the morning.

    Morning freaks!

    Currently munching my way through a mountain of peanut butter on toast. Then probably take the doggie for a walk, then watch the Milan Sanremo on the TV. Dunno what I'll be doing after that.

    I was going to go out for a couple of hours on the bike but theres a force 8 blowing.
    This afternoon going to driving school the I'll probably go have a look on merlins for XT dual controls.
    Btw has anyone ever used a set of them?
    I assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.

    todays schedule will consist of changing my mud tyres to my summer ones, going for a few laps, playing on the xbox.

    Debating whether to go on a little run as the bike needs work and I'm not in a technical mood for it today :oops:

    Today I am now getting ready to head to "Bury's World Famous Market" to have a look for some shorts as I can't afford anythin off CRC or Wiggle at the moment. Then I'm going to practise the organ (oo-er) for a while, before heading over to Leisure Lakes to see what I can put on my wishlist.
    Might hop over to Halfrauds to see if they have any bargains that someone mentioned in another thread somewhere.

    Went out for a muddy ride this morning, did a front flip onto a tree stump :D And now i'm bored for the rest of the day :P

    Woke up at 9, was too wet to go riding, went back to bed, got up at mid day, sat here eating a bowl of curiously cinnamon feeling rather bored...

    it's win win/lose lose... the mud tyres are slow and demand more of my engery, the summer tyres don't grip the wet mud as well so pedal slower but use less energy but have to concentrate a tad more.


    EDIT: :evil: now i've a flat tyre.
