My own personal faves -
High Street (high level route for the better wether)
Iron keld, Hodge Close and West of Ambleside (lower route for poor weather)
Walna Scar
Of the trail centres - i much prefer Whinlatter Altura.
It really depends on how far you want to ride and what terrain you like.
If you are up to a grueller and the weather is ok Helvellyn is a "bucket ride" just to say youve been there on a bike.
If you are based in Lindale mail me on allmountain76@googlemail.com - you are more than welcome to tag along with us lot if you like. Thursday evenings and Sundays.0 -
there are loads and loads, I really recomend the small lake district mountain bike book, my favs are iron keld, parkamoor over to nibthwaite and kentmere valley. You won't want to leave, I didn't0
