Hello,

First post so hello!

I'm heading to Lindale in Cumbria for a week and I'd like to get some riding in around the area. Are there any good routes around here or proper trail centers?

Any help much appreciated!!

  • Any good routes around "Lake District and the rest of Cumbria"?????

    LOL!

Trail centres - Grizedale and Whinlatter.

Natural - Garburn Pass, Hodge Close, High Street, Borrowdale...........

Do a search on here or Google:

  • Thanks! Any particular favorites?
  • My own personal faves -
High Street (high level route for the better wether)
Iron keld, Hodge Close and West of Ambleside (lower route for poor weather)
    Walna Scar

Of the trail centres - i much prefer Whinlatter Altura.

It really depends on how far you want to ride and what terrain you like.

If you are up to a grueller and the weather is ok Helvellyn is a "bucket ride" just to say youve been there on a bike.

If you are based in Lindale mail me on allmountain76@googlemail.com - you are more than welcome to tag along with us lot if you like. Thursday evenings and Sundays.
