Today was 'Sports Relief' in our place so i did my bit in the gym.

£1 per event for charity :)

I chose 3 events, to be done consecutively.

3000m cycle
1mile run
500m rowing

My times were

4mins 0
7 mins 0
1min 35.2

MHR was
164
172
176

If i wasn't doing them back to back i could have taken some time off both the run and the cycle.... But all in all i'm pretty happy with them.

i may do that at the end of my next workout just for a challenge, i take it its a running clock with no rest between?

Not far off.. bit of hard breathing as i walked to the next machine and set it up etc.

Rowing is my forte. I'd expect people to destroy my run and cycle times... but my row may be tougher.

Impossible to gauge mate as all machines will be different. It was on level 10 of 20 though. Personally i'd have liked about 15. But that was what the gym decided it would be set at.

Rower was a Concept II on level 10.

mosty gyms have life fitness excersize bikes, the ones in my gym have 20 levels but i never go above level 18 as i can barely keep the pedals turning lol, im waiting to see if the weather clears, will ride if it does otherwise going to gym

Good effort - normallly it is rowing first. The row time is pretty good and woudl be hard for most cyclists (assuming they are lightly built, maybe not a valid assumption) as level 10 on C2 for 500m is set up for a big man who can force it through for 1.5 mins without needing that much CV ability.

7 mins is quite reasonable for a mile especially as you lose a few seconds in getting up to speed and it is much harder to sprint for the line on the dreadmill than on the road.

FCN is minimal as I don't see many bikes on the way to work
