So I just bought myself a new white leather saddle.
Any tips on keeping it clean? Any miracle products out there that people use?

WD40, baby wipes, Cif cream - take your pick.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

    Yes. Don't ride it.

Depends on what kind of leather. Some scrub up better than others. Key is to clean it sooner rather than later. +1 for baby wipes.

use a cleaner designed for leather car seats, then use a leather protectant and keep it wiped down frequently with a damp cloth. Ideally use a water based product as oil based stuff can cause the surface to accumulate MORE dirt rather than less.

    WD40?

    Thanks for the tips fellas,
Will try the leather cleaner and baby wipe combo!
  • Muc Off, works for cleaning virtually anything. Spray a little onto a general sponge and rub over saddle. Sponge will allow it to foam up a little.

If its a leather saddle, use something like Brookes saddle cream (can't remember exact name) to protect it and prevent the leather from drying out.
  • In my experience with my wifes as well as my own white saddles both in Lorica/Synthetic and Leather Nap coverings, Nike, Addidas and a few other Companies make leather/Synthetic safe White Tennis Shoe Cleaner and Conditioner as i have been using them on my Tennee's as well as my saddles for years with Great succuess. A note to mention is that in my experience heavy yellowing of certain saddles is more from the interaction of some brand bike shorts vs others not causing it and this is harder to keep up with, so if i notice to fast of a yellowing pattern beginning i will swap out to one of my other brands of shorts and it usually solves the issue! Good Luck!!

Muc-off or neat Fairy Liquid works well.

I use Pledge Wax Spray on my White Romin. Keeps it nice and clean, the wax in the polish helps keep the saddle nice and easy to move about on.
