Singlespeed frame

Hi, i am currently thinking of buying a singlespeed bike, and was wondering what is recommended as a good frame, that is good for upgrading on.

I have a budget of around £150. If there isnt anything new out there at this price, is there anywhere in the south west you could recommend that sells 2nd hand bikes?

    You'll struggle to find anything new at that price - might be able to find a Planet-X Pompino. Otherwise stick to used - LFGSS.com has some good listings
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Look on ebay for old road bikes with horizontal dropouts.
    More problems but still living....
