Long Ashton to Backwell Sustrans path

They started tarmacing it this morning.
Lovely smooth tarmac

Blccdy good job too. I'm thoroughly fed up with the dust in the dry and the muck in the wet. What were Sustrans thinking of when they chose that surface?

    It was about 1/3rd tarmac on the way home tonight, fairly good progress considering they started this morning. The remainder is a bit chewed up at the moment but I can cope with that if the long term result is smooth car free tarmac. niiiccccce

    Go to Bikeroute Toaster and click on the cycle tab on the map when you're in the Brizzle area, route 33.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
