I'm thinking of buying one of these, as there are a few reasonable deals about.
Does anyone have one?
Recommend, yes/no?
I have an Ionos, which I really like, so how do they compare?
I thought the Ionos was light, but just weighed it at 280g, compared to the Prolight's 172g :o

had one on order as an upgrade from my atmos yet somehow the local bike shop got one in before wiggle so went and tried it on. I personally don't like it, yes its unbelievably light but I feel it sits a bit high on the head and doesn't have enough ventilation. As such cancelled the order and got an ionos.

reckon alot of it's personal taste though if you like the look of it!

Good point, I think I'll hold off until Saturday, then I can try some on

never tried it but i dont like the look of it, can see it would be lighter than an ionos cos its about 2/3 of the size. i have ionos as well and prefer it over any lid tbh. (well you'd have too to spend the money on it imo)
    Crafted in Italy apparantly
  • I have an atmos, an have no intension of upgrading. Interesting that after the grand launch of this lid at the TdF hlaf the pro's went back to wearing an ionos after about 2 days riding.

The atmos is 40g lighter than the ionos anyway.

I was going to buy a Prolight, but because of my prior experiences of poor quality Giro products I decided to get a Lazer Helium instead. The quality, fit and adjustability of this helmet is the best I've ever had. If you want lightweight, get a Limar 104 - I have one of those too.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
