morning. my slx front mech should be herethis afternoon when i come back from school. i owe my dad £10 for it
  • Today I am mostly hoping to sell some more of my stuff on the classifieds.

I am also hoping to get some more bits ordered.

I also need to get down the LBS and have the BB and Headset removed from the bike.

I suppose I'd better do some work at some point too.

    Morning :)

My Hope hub should be in Lancashire by now, being either replaced or repaired, so I'm off the bike for a few days until it gets back home!

At work, but recovering from the dentists yesterday.. 1 extraction and 2 fillings. My face is aching a fair bit today, so might even head home soon to rest up, clean the rest of the bike and settle down for some MW2 or BFBC2.
Also need to find money.. lol, so broke at the moment it's unreal!! Should really sell some stuff on classifieds too, I'm getting a nice little collection of random bits building up!

Taken the day off because I feel shite (damn cold) but not so unwell it warrants a sickday.

Anyway, now looking outside I'm itching to go for a ride, so do I go out and risk making the cold worse and then feel so bad I cant go out at the weekend or do I say the hell with it and MTFU etc etc.

I have to find about £400. Apparently I need new glasses and the lenses on their own are £270.

    Morning all,

I fear a large part of this morning will be lost to a conference, where I will be mostly having the phone on mute and playing games on my mates iPod touch while our boss talks rubbish for an hour or so. Then this afternoon I will be looking for a nice cheap rear wheel for the rat bike, or I will have to buy a cassette nut tool and try and make 1 good wheel out of the 2 crap ones I have.

This evening I seriously need to attend to the fish tank as I have been neglecting the poor little buggers lately.

Today, I need to write a lab report on x-ray crystallography. It's not as fun as it sounds, and it doesn't sound fun...

Today I'm going to be helping the administrator figure out what "non-veg" means.

We're hosting a conference soon, and one of the doctors who's applied to come has put under the special dietary requirements: "Non-veg". Does that mean he's a vegetarian, he's not a vegetarian (in which case why bother writing anything at all), or is he some kind of anti-vegetarian and so can only eat meat? :? Seemingly intelligent people really do lack common sense sometimes!

I'm at work again, and am typing without using the index finger on my right hand as it has araldite on it, which I don't want sticking to the keyboard (it's surprisingly difficult!)

I'm looking at houses to rent as my contract finishes soon and they need 2 months notice. I'm thinking South Leeds now as then I'm nearer the Penines, M62 and M1 8)
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I'm 34 years of age yet just had a Barnett Diablo Pro catapult delivered to shoot the pheasants that keep eating my grass seed. Want to scare them, not kill them.

    Grow up?

Sadly not a GP, Computer sales and repairs or just a dogs body for the place.

Was kinda hoping to be spotted so I could of said I was a super computer...Needed helping getting back out of it though.
  • Well, how's everyones day going so far?

    Mine is pretty good.

So far today, I've sold my cranks, shifters, rear mech and forks. The new classifieds section seems to work well.

As my bike is now in bits, that should provide sufficient motivation to get my new stuff ordered sharpish.

Cant wait now, the bike is going to be AWESOME when it's done.
