Hi folks - finally found my cycling bug again - it;s been missing for a few months to be honest, not really sure why - but it's come back and I've been out a few times in the last week and really enjoyed it.

back to this forum too - made a couple of posts and I'd forgot how much i used to enjoy it here too!

Here's hoping I can keep it up (the cycling at least and hopefully the forum too) - I still have a bit of a, ahem, "xmas jacket" on!

cheers.

yeah - thats a good point - it hasn't really bothered me in previous years though - and the difference was that last year when the weather was really bad I felt like i was missing out and wanted to get out on the bike even more - but this year I was just not that interested.

anyway - good to be back

I've been struggling with the same issue - which I've put down to the fact its' been the worst winter I've ever experienced (I'm not from the UK) and I've been busy for work, so have struggled to have spare time when there have been breaks in the weather. I've hung around here hoping to get some enthusiasm back ... which I think is slowly coming. The warmer weather is definitely going to help.

Anyway - welcome back - do you still have your S-Works Roubaix? That'll be nice to get re-acquainted with.

I do indeed still have my s-works roubaix! - but been using the old winter trek pilot at the moment - it has cheaper wheels to replace if these potholes take me out!

Looking forward to getting the roubaix back out though - I took it down from it's wall hanger the other night to remind myself just how light it is - love that bike!

Same boat mate, though I've never given up on here. Welcome back.

hi red! - they are good! - thank you for remembering and asking - appreciated.

They have been pretty good - I have kept up with the physio and strength exercises (although their benefit is enhanced with the cycling) and they are feeling pretty good.

just need to work on the rest of the quad and cardio-vascular performane now!
