good things? bad things? Anyone had a custom Viner built by this shop? I have £2k to spend and would love a custom build Viner Pefecta. I'm guessing after the frame, they don't have much left to play with

You won't get a 2010 Perfecta for that money, £2k list for frame/forks. However, 2009 Perfecta frame is still on sale as the Volata, £1650 list for the frame/forks. Velocity did have deals on 2009 Perfectas as well a few weeks ago, you might just get lucky. You'll still need to spend a bit more all the same, frankly....
As for Velocity, I have nothing but praise for them. Not the cheapest for sure, but friendly, helpful, thorough and honest. They're my local LBS of choice, have been for a couple of years, as it happens I'm taking the Magnifica in for a service on Friday & the Cadenza in on Monday. Guess where I'll be going for the Maxima? ;)
