hi all,

Has anyone got a pair of these oakleys?

Wondered how well you can hear the road with these in and volume on low.

Can you actually make a call when riding as I would of thought wind noise on your speech would stop it working (wouldnt ride myself adn take a call but would stop)

Also which lens are better the iridium (can you get poloarised with these), or the polished grey, presume each has its benefits, but an extra $100 for the red lens seems a bit odd (and i don't like white!)

Cheers

I had a pair for a while but sold them off before Xmas.

Overall, they are OK, road noise is about as audible as wearing most other ordinary earphones, so if you are happy with doing that normally then no issue. The ear plugs are quite flexible, so you can have one in and one out quite comfortably o rkepp them relatively loose

Taking/Making a call on it is pretty poor - the microphone (at least IME) is really not great and is completely drowned out at anything other than standing still out of the wind.

Ultimately, I got rid of it as I had some real interference issues which affected the sound quality (stop-start) - it was fine when stationary, but never could work out whether it was my wireless comp, the garmin or something else that was causing he interference when I was on the move.

As for the lenses, the polarized iridium lenses are top quality and look great, but unless you ride in really testing conditions (or are really worried about how they look!), then the plain lenses are more than up to the job.
