Hi help me pls . Here is a long story but I'll make it short.
Orders my first road bike from my lbs in January I chose the bianchi c2c xneon ,I am 6ft 5 and was told I need a 63 cm frame bike. Was told del end of march.enough time I thought to get some training done before June 6 th.
Then was told beginig of April .
Then yesterday a phone call from my lbs , which I must say have been helpful, told me end of MAY. Obviously not enough time!!!!
Can anyone surgest a bike that is 63 cm , campag gears, around 700-1000 and In STOCK.

Thanks

lee

    That's unfortunate.

Could be down to a few things but the new Bianchi range looks to be cracking so could be down to the need to fulfil a lot of orders.

Where are you based ? My LBS (Twenty3c, in Milton Keynes) has a fair few Bianchi's in stock ranging from the Via Nirone to the Infinito. Could do worse than to ring them up as they're first class.

    Best of luck :D
  • Hi there I am based in Peterborough . I'll give them a call cheers.
  • You could get a Trek or Specialized swapped to Campag for about £850.00

Trek go to a 64cm frame which is in your ballpark. Discuss with your LBS what he could customize for you.

Might be able to get a Viner Celer for top end of your budget - those are made to measure. Mind, they take a good six weeks delivery.

    Evans are showing 7-10 days.
Worth a call if they're being honest with that date.

Give Epic Cycles a call, they may be a little way from you but they have a fair amount of Bianchi stock and you get a really good fitting with the bike.

This has been the story of the 2010 range, at least from my experience and what my LBS have said.

I ordered that same bike back in October from my LBS when Bianchi announced it. I needed a large size and was told there would be a wait as Bianchi were releasing more common sizes first. The date kept being put back, and back, and back. Much to the annoyance of my LBS and me! I ended up giving up and getting something else (a Cinelli XPerience) as I just wanted to get out on my new bike!

  • Yeah I am looking into another bike as I don't fancy doing 100 miles on my mtb or a bike I have not riden .

Looking at a Scott speedster s 40 any views ?
  • I have been searching for a Bianchi Tiagra and having the same story everywhere. Campag wont sell the groupsets to Bianchi and so not stock is being released to the UK. I have been given dates ranging from mid May to end of July so I dont think anyone has a true idea.

I have emailed Bianchi themselves but not had a reponse but thats not suprising!!

If anyone does find a 55cm in stock please let me know.

    Thanks

Same delays with Cannondale. Ordered Jan 29th and hopefully coming beginning of April. I tried emailing every online retailer to see if they had mine in stock but it's distributor issues so just have to wait!

i thought i had ordered a bianchi in january but the lbs reckons not.
i definitely did order it at the beginning of march and was told it would be available at the end of april, ie two months later
they said there was a fire at the bianchi factory !
sounds like one from page two of the excuses manual to me
  • My lbs said the same thing about a fire .
We might get them before 2010 runs out
