Just opened the door to let the dogs in, and Cilgwyn Mountain/Quarry on fire!
Thiis is my favourite quarry/local ride, with the Mtn being at 1,200ft, but great place.
Used in "Tomb Raider" movie, as was Llanberis Quarry for the new "Clash of the Titans."
Could have been gorse burning by local sheep farmers, or local idiots.
Lots of blue flashing lights, helicopters etc.
Hope it's out by Sunday, got a ride planned...

Most likely gorse burning
It's been happening a lot around here the past few weeks
I cycled through smoke on sunday on my training run and it scared the sh#t out of me as I could here a car coming but could see nothing0 -
