Something that will last me a while, and looks good! Plain black and/or white please. Thank you!

    Aldi couple of quid specials - lasted better than Campagnolo Gel mitts I've bought.

    Prendas' own brand ones are excellent value;

    I've two pairs that I've used regularly for the past three years and they're still good for another summer or two.

    I always go back to Spesh BG models, few different models within the range with different levels of padding.

    Giro do some lovely ones in soft leather. Black and white either shirt/long fingers. I've the LF in black, gorgeous...

    I'd recommend trying on a few pairs though, bad fitting ones can ruin your day!

    I looked at mitts last year. OK, this is what I found

    Assos - Crap
    Campag - Crap

    Castelli Rosso Corsa - Very Good
    Specialized BG Pro Road Gel Mits - Very Good

    Another vote for specialized BG's. Had a pair for years and still going strong. By comparison, I bought a new pair of Campag's on ebay recently and split them open trying to remove the care lable - I was not amused.

    rapha are nice if you are prepared to pay the money but I generally use Specialized as they seem better made than other brands. Knog look good, esp. the 8 Ball version (that's not rude by the way!)
