Hi everyone,
I Will finally get myself a proper bike after a change in work location. I have 13 kilometres to work, 60% street, 40% city road.
The bike will be used for training and trips at week end. Always on roads, come next summer probably with a child's seat on the back.
I have been looking at Orbea Aneto and Trek 7.5 FX (2009).
Any commentaries on these?
I am new to this kind of bikes, but the type seems to be perfect for me.
Thanks.

Best advice I can give is to go and sit on a few and test ride them if you can; buying a road bike is like buying a pair of shoes, you want it to fit perfectly.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX
Race - Fuji Norcom Straight
Sun - Cervelo R3
Winter / Commute - Dolan ADX0 -
Know nothing about the Orbea, but I do ride a Trek 7.5 `10.
I have had nothing but pleasure from the bike, I regulary cover a 12 mile stretch 2 or 3 times a week with no problem and do a 30 or 40 mile trip on the weekend, although I do get a little numb at this distance.
No mechanical problems to date, had the bike for around 6-7 months and just clocked 1000 miles on it this weekend.0
