works both ways, there are ex-pat brits in some other eu countries who get free healthcare without having to pay for it

there're probably a lot more retired brits in spain than there are unfortunate polish women in the uk

given that older people use more healthcare services on average than younger ones, i'd bet that the uk does pretty well out of it overall
