I find the rubber on the Keo cleats really annoying.

Anybody got a source of the older non-rubber versions?

Just take it off. It's only there as an aid to walking, but comes off eventually anyway.

Gotta love the way this is progress eh?

I'd rather not have to buy something in order to discard part of it straight away.

I got some on ebay recently.

I'm currently trying the rubber-tipped type on my winter shoes and it is annoying the way they grip on the pedal when trying to flick it round to snap the cleat in. When they wear out I'll replace them with the old type.

I've had the Keo cleats with and without the rubber strips and the only time I noticed any difference was when walking. Currently have the Mike Dyason imitations and have no problems with them.
    More problems but still living....
