Cycle helmet for thin head...

I have a Giro Monza which was cheap and ideal as my first helmet.
I have a slim face - so it looks a bit mushroom on me. Just looks a bit top heavy.
Are there any makes and models that suit this type of head?

Arghghgh Sorry no help but in the same predicament. I've tried all the helmets in Evans and Leisure Lakes and other LBS and hate every single one. The colours don't help either. Ive been using my cheapo £10 from Aldi/Lidl for 9 months with stick on high-viz which I even take to the velodrome, it a little embarrassing.0

Most Bell helmets are made for narrower skulls and appearance wise seem to match thinner faces as well. Giro's are more for round heads and faces as you've discovered.
There are so many different, quality brands out there now that I'm sure you'll find something that works.0 -
You could try dropping a set of sideburns to widen your face bit0

Sensible suggestions anyone?0

I have quite a slim face, currently using a Catlike Whisper Plus which is great. I was worried I would put it on for the first time and look mental but it was all good.0

Catlikes are all good, I agree with you there
Price-wise, the Giro Monza is in the same category as the Catlike Kompact Pro.0 -
price no issue - just want something that suits0

Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute http://www.bhsi.org/helmet09.htm 2009 report mentions:

Yes I have the same predicament. I have tried on various brands & all make me look like special needs! I'm going to have a look at the Boardman offering next at Halfords, if this does not do the trick I've no idea what to do?0

You could ride with cotton wool in your cheeks, you'd look something like this...

What size helmet are you looking at. I managed to fit in a small Giro Pneumo which looked ok - I have a small head.0

I had the same problem as you - my old Giro Atmos looked massive on me.
I switched to a Specialized S-works 2D and the fit and look is much better. It's an individual thing of course, you you could start by looking at a few specialized lids.0
