Thomson seat posts

After today's recovery ride (following 80 miles yesterday) I noticed that my seat post has a great crack in it approx 1/3 of the way through and just above the collar. Assuming that this is terminal, I now need to replace my FSA SLK carbon post with something new, which would include a setback of ~ 20mm.

A quick search suggests that Thomson Elite posts are hard to beat. Is that still the case?

I have one and it's great.
    FCN 2-4.

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

Arguably the best alloy post there is and one of the best posts anyway. Not cheap but I have 3 of them so I must like them

Thomson's great if you need an inline post, but the layback version is fugly.

The Ritchey WCS (2 bolt version) is very nice. I am (cough) 95kg and it's given me no trouble.

Yes. I've got one with matching stem and am very pleased with them.

Agree with everyone above (except 2alexcoo) - great posts, can't fault mine.
