I fancy treating myself to some new wheels for my Spesh Tarmac Comp.

It currently has Aksium's, which I think weight around 2000g. I think to warrent replacing them I'd need to get something thats a pound lighter?
Thinking about Mavic Krysium Elites or Fulcrum race 3's. Any thoughts on these or any alternatives?
Has anyone else made a similar change and was it worth it? Is it that noticable?
I know they're a bit more expensive than £300, but I'm prepared to hang out for a bit of a sale or ebay bargain.
This is my 'good bike', which is used for sportives, club runs and I want to try a few crits and time trials this year. Need Shimano freehub. I weigh in at less than 12 stone.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
They look great and get some great reviews on wiggle. Anyone own them?
Something makes me concerned that they'll be fragile, but thats probably unfounded.0 -
I like RS80's - they are the same rim as the DA 7850 CL's with an Ultegra hub, so less than 100g more weight (at the hub too, not rotating weight at the rim) for about £150-200 less...
Different opinions...
