Got to the Train Station this morning for an early morning run to London, and I'm at East Midland Parkway Train station.

I've just got my tickets and am sorting out wallet, tickets et al....

A lady runs in all breathless and runs up to the ticket counter:

"I need to know about the next flight to..blahblahblah"

Ticket guy "Huh? Sorry? Flight?"
"Yes, flight blahblahblah"

"No Madam, this is East Midland PARKWAY. You want East Midland AIRPORT"

<blank look>
<dawning realisation....>
ARRRGGGHHHHH......!!!

cue woman pelting out of Station at a rate of knots! :lol:

    The lack of runway/planes etc combined with rails and trains would have been a clue! not tried that station yet myself, usually go from newark instead, is it better than just getting on at Nottingham?

    Hell yes.

    If you live anywhere South of Nottingham, use EMP instead... car park is right next to the station and is only £5 for the whole day. All trains stop there and it's a very quiet station
