Fizik or Selle Italia?

Got a Time carbon air flow but fancy a change as want to put a white one on and change my bar tape to white.

  • I have a Selle Italia SLR XP in white, it looks sweet, and I find it comfortable.

...what about Tipp-Ex on your Time one as a cheap alternative?

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Not on your shortlist I know - but I have just fitted the 2010 specialized Toupe in white and it is soooooo comfortable, but also looks like the dog's danglies

I lasted an hour on a toupe before getting really sore bum bones  really nice saddle though if it fits you, I've ordered a Selle Italia Max Flite Gel Team - same sort of price but has more padding, heavier yes but for comfort would be worth the extra grammes :)

Getting fitted recently was the key for me - I dropped form a 143 gel version to a 130 non-gel and it is a whole lot more comfortable.

I got my bones measured and they were 130mm approx on the padded bum thing. Now on a 130 wide saddle that would mean my bones are right on the edge and I can't think this would be right and I got to borrow a 143 Toupe. Very good shape but as it had virtually no padding (neither has my bum bones) it was just too hard.

I'd go for a Fizik Arrione in white with either the red or black strip down the middle ... depends on the dominant colour on your bike, colour of tyres etc ...
