If I get bib'd whilst out on the bike I generally give 'em a wave and blow the driver a kiss :-)
Male drivers in particular really hate this. heh.
And it's not what you'd call particularly offensive.Earn Cashback @ Wiggle, CRC, Evans, AW Cycles, Alpine Bikes, ProBikeKit, Cycles UK :

I punch drivers who have aimed their cars at me. The police aren't really interested, I can't be arsed to try and do the "what if" scenarios with ar5ehole drivers. I have been bashed into, door opened deliberately, kerbed, spat at, shouted at whilst out riding and so a good old right hander when the driver is not expecting it levels the field, takes the driver out of their comfort zone of a nice protective car.
This isn't for everyone, I am not condoning it, not happy doing it but I feel it cuts out a lot of confusion.0 -

I think you need to take a big chill pill before you get on the bike!
I thought he was being sarky.
There was a video on youtube of a guy blowing kisses to a driver after an agressively close overtake, the driver does a uturn and threatens the guy... cant find the vid now though. I seriously wouldnt even consider blowing a kiss. Sometimes you do get pee'd off with it and shout out though, and we're only human in that respect.0 -
a car approached me on a single road at night i slowed right down to pass slowly and the cnut aimed the car with the wheels on the dirt my side on approach. he swerved back before i was about to jump into the ditch. i dont know weather he was trying to suggest my 3w light was too bright he never stopped. it was a shitroen berlingo i think it was a taxi.0

As you said in your post "you just managed to get in front of him"
or am i missing the point here
The way I understood it is that the car was coming up on his right on the same road and he was to the left of said car....0 -

For goodness sake, you're determined to try and be annoying aint ya, that line doesnt prove a thing (hence why I said we needed more from the OP) :roll:0 -
Lets look at this another way. You're in your car, you approach a mini roundabout, nothing coming from the right so you proceed on, suddenly from a left approach a cyclist who doesn't have the right of way nips out just in front of you, causing you to brake and swerve, so you beep your horn to show your displeasure. You then overtake the cyclist who then tells you to fook off.
