Looking at a new frame for the spring and would like some thoughts on the Orbea Onix. I read good things about it but need to be convinced.

i have one for sale and its only for sale because i got some inheritence otherwise i would have kepted it as it gives a really smooth ride, would be perfect for long distance comfort riding. Climbs well and is responsive. Although not as good as my Wilier but then thats 3times the price but i wouldnt say 3 times the quality though.

Hello there - I have bought an Orbeo Onix Dama TLT and have yet to receive so can't tell you about the ride. Have gone from a Trek 1.5 last year, my first bike, to this Onix. I hadn't heard much about Orbea but have found some good reviews. I have also received some very positive comments when I posted about buying it on another forum.

Do you get the Cycling Plus mag? This month, they have a pull out called the 50 Bike Shoot Out and in there is the Orbea Onix TLT with a review. If you don't have it, post and I will type out the review (won't take me long - fast typist!). Bottom line though, they score it 9 out of 10.

    Lovely bit of kit!

I've had mine for a little over a year now and love it completely :)
