BIke courier question

I've bought a carrera Kraken from Dumfries. But having problems arranging a collection, for 2 reasons:

First;y, becasue its too big ie. 130cm x 72 cm x 34cm

Secondly, finding a courier to do a collection in the pm (to suit the seller)

If anyone has any ideas on either the 1st or 2nd problem i'd be very appreciative

dont use parcel2go i wasted 2 full days waiting in for a collection and they never showed. the driver used the excuse they could not find my address !!! i dont live off the beaten track and im easy to find. i think it was a case of the driver not being arsed ,they also let me down before christmas

Think you'll struggle to get a PM collection as most couriers include collection with there deliveries so can't give accurate times. Our DHL collections where i work are always done after 2pm, but i think thats only because the driver empties his van first and then fills it again on the way back to the depot.

Never had any problems with parcels to go, as they are only a handling agent and use DHL etc.

Maybe TNT, Palletline, Parcelline. They all deliver LARGE boxes to us. 50" TV box size. Far bigger than a bike.

parcel2go have always provided an outstanding service both domestic and to Portugal for me, it's mostly Parcelforce used who do afternoon pick ups as the driver's got a van full of deliveries in the morning.
