I didn't know about this until a few days ago, the Pashley Roadster 26 with wheels in the classic English size http://www.pashley.co.uk/products/roadster-26.html
Nice to see a quality company keeping the traditional size alive. It would be great if others did too.

^ I was interested in getting some of those wheels for my girlfriend's Caprice. At the moment it's on ebay 1 1/38 aluminium wheels which are really poor quality. I found one Pashley retailer who couldn't sell them to me directly though.
The Caprice takes 590mm rims and MTB rims are 559mm. So that's 31mm difference so needs a brake drop of 15.5mm for MTB rims to work. It's got deep-drop BMX calipers so MTB rims should work fine. Better tyre selection in MTB size too.0 -
Archie Wilkinson sell 26x1 3/8 wheels and off road tyres for anyone that needs them, they're cycle speedway tyres but are the same as cyclocross.
Raleigh do whitewalls, Schwalbe do whitewalls and all-cream, Michelin, Kenda and Panaracer do this size, probably others too.Bikes, saddles and stuff
