Just wondering how much people would pay to have a wheel built if you supplied the parts?
I don't actually know anywhere nearby that builds wheels though so i'd have to phone around.. but i'm just considering my options for a new rear hub

I'd charge you 20-25 quid per wheel.0

$40-45. Which probably falls in the £20-30 range.
Might get a better deal if you let them provide the parts. Don't forget price of spokes and nipples - they can be more than you think.0 -
If you can. Lace them up using a guide, tension every spoke evenly but very slack you could half the price I'd say.0

Well all I plan to do is a hub swap if it goes ahead... Changing from a 10mm saint hub to 12mm saint hub
so old spokes and nipples will be used ".0 -
Are the hub dimensions exactly the same for the spokes?0

i cant believe ben is selling his bike for a fs. i will resist commenting in a similar fashion to you when i sold a bike.0

Is he? What a berk!0

I laced the last wheel I built and let the LBS finish it off and was charged £8. I had to measure every aspect of the hub to get the required measurements. Bit of a challenge but satisfying.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I believe so... CRC fecked my order up when I 1st bought the wheelset by lacing a 12mm hub. It was sent back and re-laced with a 10mm hub.
I'd forgotten about that... i'll ask them.0
