not meaning my photoshop skills, do the colours look awful, yes or no? The cranks will be XTR with crankskinz clear, red blingy bits, lime candy and metallic grey forks and front.
Could do forks and front white?

Looks pretty good but should definatly have red rims and possibly red hubs0
-
bit over the top on the red with all that tho? Plus the rear hub is Alfine and front XTR so not changing them in a hurry!0
-
looks a little festive perhaps?0

You can never have to much red......
Although my Graph Comm teacher does say "red and green should never be seen except on a gypsy queen"
How wrong he is. I think red and green look great together :P0 -
mmm - maybe candy lemon yellow or fluoro yellow instead? Sick of the raw look already!0

but only in the last 2 weeks of december
I couldn't agree....................less
I get really bored of red and green before the middle of December never mind the last two weeks. I even get bored of trees even if I'm riding through them in a forest.
Argh trees spoil everything0 -
Ever heard the saying "Red and green must not be seen except upon a fool" ?Smarter than the average bear.0

Does it ride well? Yes? No?
I don't give a sh1t what it looks like!0 -
Does it ride well - its a Heckler!
Hence making it look pimp, no other reason to change after that!0 -
Looks like a squished apple with a bad bit that you eat around.
Green and white would be better.Whyte 905 (2009)

I'm sure it's going to be fun to ride. I assume this thread is because you want to know if people think it's ugly. I wouldn't say it's ugly, I just want to scrub my eyeballs with wire wool and bleach to get rid of the taint.0

it looks hidious in that colour scheme mate..
There we go my 2 cents hehe0 -

Please god no!
IMO if you're going for such a bright frame colour you should keep the details subtle. You could get away with red seat clamps, QRs and head set and BB cups I reckon, but that pedal/crank combo is horrible!0 -

Ok my mistake.
I do agree about the cranks being horrible in the same colour as the pedals though. Get them in a different colour to the pedals0 -
Go for the white front end. Highlighted components are just that - highlights and should be used with restraint. Too much just looks yuk!Scott Genius 08, Marin Rock Springs 08, Marin Pine Mountain 890

Yeah, like the old Benneton sweatshirts of the 80's.
Nice combo.0 -
Dont do it!
If you go for a bright frame, then you should keep the highlights subtle.
If you have a low key frame (i'm thinking black ano or white) then tart it up with red or silver or gold or whatever takes your fancy.
But bright frame bright higlights and you end up looking like you've ram-raided the Xmas decoration dept in Homebase0 -
i'm going to comment cos i feel so strongly on this subject..
It looks like the bottom of the toilet after i have been out on the lash for a week solind eating junk food puking and not flushing...0 -
