Reynolds Assaults and Tight Tyre Fitting!!!

This evening i have finally got round to attempting to fit my new Reynolds assaults and i just cannot mount any tyre on to them!!!
I have tried Vittoria Corsa, Vittoria Pave as well as Michelin Krylion but all to no avail!!
After 50 minutes i have had to admit defeat. I am going to have to return the wheels and am really p*ssed off at present!!!
Even tried a tyre that has been on my other wheels and still could not get it over the rim. These rims are just way too tight.
