Goodridge hose fitting

hi,
ive got hayes HFX 9 brakes, does anyone know if i can fit Goodridge hose using the standard Hayes fitting? or do i need the Goodridge fitting kit?
i cant seem to find any info about the diameter of the Hayes hose, (if anyone knows this, that would help) there are a few people saying that the Goodridge hose will fit on Hope systems using the standard fittings but i cant find anything to do with Hayes...
