I know i've been wanting to buy it for ages but I knew that as soon as I did halfords would have a sale and I would be P!ss3d. So I waited and waited......and waited and saved myself £100. Now what to spend it on...... :roll:0

Bigger pictures please.
Also, any idea on weight?0 -
Sorry 1st time posting pics thats how they came from from flickr. I'll try and sort some bigger ones out.
I weighed it earlier @ 27 1/2 lb which I don't think is too bad for a long forked HT and thats as standard. Size Small.0 -
thats awesome spec for £900
if you have £100 to spend then use it to buy clothing,a pump etc. or if you have those get a new stem and handlbar to make it even lighter0 -
very, very nice. i want.
£100? spend it on a shorter stem, and wider bars, they are the only weak point on the whole bike.I like bikes and stuff0 -

Alu or carbon? Alu I guess.
The frame is really small. so would you still get the "give" at the rear that my mate states he got with his Zaskar? Will it take a 120 fork?
Love the frame/colour scheme, wonder if it comes "frame only"?0 -

I've not been out on it yet as I am a bit tied up with work but am hoping for a gud sesh soon maybe gisburn or lee quarry. I'll let you know what it rides like after that. I have riden small aggressors before and they have always been fine at the rear end IMO.
@ splottboy the Elite & XCR are 'long fork' aggressors with different geometry to the standard aggressors the Rev's on this and the Bombers on the XCR are 140mm. You may be able to pick a frame up on fleebay but TBH the Elites are pretty rare I haven't seen many about.0 -
Thanks for that, Robert the Cheese.
I'll keep my good-eye out for one, as my mate had the original Zaskar in the GT colours.
It was a nice looking rig, and he swears as good as some short-travel full sussers.0 -
nice looking bike that, and a cracking price.0
-
Awesome spec for that price. wish i had that0

Very nice, saw one of these in my local Halfords yesterday, great value for money2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon

I wish I had more room to store bikes, I just love the look of this bike.0

@ Dubsy - Thanks for the compliments. TBH it was the spec that attracted me to it at first. I was choosing between this & an Orange Crush. But now that I have it I love the look of it. Just ordered these from CRC today as the stock ones are awful.

Is the front fork maxle or QR? Awesome bike at a blinding price.0
-
also the wellgo pedals that they put on are useless after a few rides, especially in the wet. so some money on some pedals would be a good investment.0
-
@ GHILL - the Rev's on this are Maxle
@ jadamson - Was gonna get some MG1's straight away but decided I need other things more at the mo. I'l run them 'til they are no good then buy the MG1's0 -
very nice mate like it0
-
@joshtp - I know what you mean about the bars. Took it out for its first proper ride today and felt like the bars should have been about 20mm wider each side. May have to look at changing these when I get abit of spare cash.0

Ok, time for an update.
Ive had this bike for just over a yesr now and it continues to swallow up anything I can throw at it. Best 1K I have ever spent. And judging by the price of the equivelant now it will continue to be too
Few upgrades:
Ragley Grips
Blackspire Bash + conversion to 2 x 9
Race Face Respond bars
Wellgo B54 flat pedals
