Ridley Crossbow and Specialized Tricross

Folks,

I asked a similar question earlier but am posing it in a different way. I want to choose between a Ridley Crossbow and a Specialized Tricross Sport. The Ridley appears to be 1kg lighter, otherwise they look the same.

Any votes strongly in favour of one over the other ?

    both good bikes I think (which doesn't help I know). The Ridley is the better cross bike if that's all you want it for but Tricross is probably the better allround bike and can be used for touring etc. (although change the tyres)

    I ended up choosing the Tri although i thought long and hard about it
