It started off with a raw frame:-
Then after a powder coat, a bit of a scrounging and begging it turned into this:-

Some of the parts were taken off the Heckler and replaced with new, in order the big guy didn't feel left out I gave him some new XT Servo Wave brakes.

you should have used sram parts that would make it better and you should have just got a new bike

I think he would rather turn up at the trails with the GT than turn up and say "oh, there are 3000 other boardmans here too......"0 -

agreed, good on the lad for customising the frame, a great job in my eyes. Agreed with the sticker arrangement however but it's not my bike!
Nice spec, good frames as i used to own one myself now go and ride!

Jacob2910, this build was a lightweight enduro racing hardtail, mostly buil out of my spares box. Yes I did have a full XT groupset and a set of wheels lying around in the garage.
