Just bought some cycling (or rather triathlon) shoes but questioning how well they fit. What should you look for in a good fitting cycling shoe?

Most importantly I'll state the obvious and say they should just 'feel' right. Other than this, I'd say go slightly larger than you regular shoe size, given that our feet swell when they get hot.

Also bare in mind the various insoles you can buy to suit your foot type. This could make a big difference in refining the overall fit and feel of your shoe. Same applies with running shoes, ski boots etc. Look into Specialized Body Geometry insoles and Superfeet.
