London to Brighton tyres

I'm looking for some advice on what tyres to put onto my mountain bike for the London to Brighton bike ride. Are Schwalbe Land Cruiser any good?

They're fine I'd use the City Jets or Speed Cruisers though you wont need all that tread.

+1 for Maxxis Xeniths. Light, fast and enough volume to be smooth and comfortable. Mrs Harry did London-Brighton on a pair a couple of years ago with no problems. They are my current commuting tyre of choice.
