Hi all,
Im hoping to go to the Peak District in the next couple of weeks for a days riding.
Never been there before but from what ive read I know that there's a lot of quality riding around.
Can anyone recommend a few routes that are within riding distance of the Hope train station? Ideally looking for something around 3 or 4 hours long as I will just be there for the day. I know that Ladybower is very near.....are the routes easy to follow!?
Thanks

Is probably your best start. There are lots of great rides round there. However.... one thing you MUST do is plan a stop at the Woodbine Cafe in the middle of Hope for a pint (yes pint) of tea. Bike parking is round the back and pretty secure.A Flock of Birds

Or this one if you want something more epic... You can cut from Stanage straight across burbage moor if you arent too worried about whether a footpath is really a bridleway or not

Keep away from Cavedale - it is solid ice from top to bottom at the moment.
In 4hrs from Hope you could probably do a loop taking in Hope Cross, Jacob's Ladder, Rushup Edge and Hollins Cross.0 -
here is a route from mbr, called ladybower best bits
