I'm looking to replace my bars as they're not wide enough and I've found the same bars on CRC (FSA Energy) at a good price, but there's two sorts, Ergonomic and Anatomic.

Same drop & reach, so whats the difference between the two?

The main difference is the shape of the drops. The Ergonomic are more of a classic, round curve, the Anatomic have a much flatter profile on the drops.

All down to personal preference. I've never found anatomical ones to suit me, but others will swear by them

Just to add to that, I see they also have these bars in a 'traditional' style as well. The Ergo's are curvier than the Anatomicals on the drops, but seem to have a little more shape on the tops for a flatter hand position than the traditional shape.

    I've confused myself now.

Just got some Deda Fluida semi-compacts, nice short drop and flat on the top, lovely.

Can't wait to fit them at the weekend and get out and ride.
