hello.
i was just wondering what you guys think of the mavic crossride wheels. does any one have any experience with them for strength and reliability as they come standard on the zesty 314.
second question is do you guys know if its possible to get a bike shop to replace say the wheels and the rear shock on the 314 for same parts on the 514. i was wondering as the 514 is out of my budget but that's the only really difference in parts id want. would i have to pay the difference or pay full price for the parts and just sell the old 314 bits.
hope that makes sense and thanks for you help

Good budget wheels, pretty light and tough for the price. What do you want from new wheels? Lighter weight, more strength?
A shop should replace them, and shock, but most likely you will pay their full retail (and keep the old stuff)0 -
mate had some a year or two back and were like cheese and hubs just died. i was thinking of replacing them with the xt threw axle on the 514.
the rear shock is just preference as i love my current rp230 -
Crosrrides are not thru axle - so new fork needed if you go for that hub.0
