Hi,
Been looking at getting some bar ends.
The question I have is do you cut away part of the grips or do the bar ends just attach over the top of the grips?
Thanks in advance

You can cut down the grips, or slide them and the controls further down the bars (use hair spray under then to lube then lock them)0

depends, on many things.
normally you can just move everything inboard."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

as above, just shift everything in a bit. Check out the cane creek ergo grips as well, I love mine!0

As nobody else has said it...
You don't buy them, let alone fit them0 -

there better for powering up hills, gives you more upper body strength for pulling on your bars, its a bit like trying to do a biceps curl with your palms facing down so that why bar ends are good, but it depends where you ride, around a forest or some man made course bar ends not as effective but out on the moors where there are big hills that go on for ages they make it easier
have to say it tends to be older riders who use them ,were not daft lolanthem x with many upgrades0 -
The only time I ever need to pull on my bars, I'd want to have my hands somewhere near the brake levers/gears as it's either on a tech climb or descent0
