Cane Creek headset

I have a Felt Z35 with a Cane Creek VP-A61ACK headset. I have been unable to find any obvious information on this headset on the Cane Creek website (why not, Cane Creek?) or anywhere else. What I would like to know is what size bearings will fit and is this headset compatible with any other Cane Creek model ? I do not want to take it apart to find if there are any numbers on the existing bearings as all is well at the moment.

    That is an IS style headset. Because VP is a separate company that licenses use of our patent, we may not have parts that are directly compatible. However you could upgrade to the IS-3 or the 110-IS.

    Success! All the info on this headset is on the website of www.vpcomponents.com.
    Hope this exercise is of use to others. I wonder now what cost it shaved,if any, off the cost of putting together the bike? Think I will give this one a rest.
