    Well worth the trip.

He's a very nice chap who happens to coach several top riders and in fact raced at the highest level himself (there are photos of him in the 87 TdF when you go in).

I broke my leg last year and was having trouble with niggling knee pains, muscle soreness etc. I was worried that I'd need new cranks, stem, bars, seatpost, all sorts! I went to see him last week.

First thing he did was do the moulded insoles then went from there.

He identified I had one leg longer than the other and used cleat shims to correct this, as well as them aligning my leg correctly (measured with laser no less!)

Subtle changes to the bike position have reaped spectacular rewards.

I'm spinning much better now, in a much more circular motion. I raced Saturday then did a hard ride yesterday (over 5000ft of climbing). I've had no twinges or pain whatsoever and I have set several power output personal bests over fri, sat and sun!

The footbeds are a revelation but used in conjunction with the rest of the set up I am chuffed to bits.

Going to see him in a couple of weeks to sort my TT bike position out.
