Oh - pure unadulterated bike porn! Very very nice indeed! I rate the pure posts too! Very handy for hitting hips etc without having to stop the flow of the ride.

How much (or little!) does it weigh out of interest?

thats a real beauty and well deserved.

i have that very same carpeting and paint in my house
  • Lovely bike! Incredibly stif-riding frame isn't it? What do you think of the fork? I have a 2009 140mm Rev U-Turn on my LTc & considering going for one the same as yours.

I left the forces after 4 back to back 7 month+ Telic tours and my missus only let me buy myself a new pair of tires!

    Where is the justice?!

    Lovely bike by the way

    Lovely bike 8)

I see you've got your desert issue helmet & body armour next to the bike in the photos. Might come in handy to protect yourself when you're throwing it around down the hills!

They are excellent bikes, I've got the alu LT2 version. Watch underneath the chainstay near the BB as the chain tends to hit the underside of the frame, I put some electrical tape around the frame and a few cable ties over the tape to protect the frame. 8)
  • thanks for the replys, and thanks for the tips etc.. all very welcome, shockabuku; the fork is amazing it truly is one fork for all occasions and i cant fault it in any way!

one thing i forgot to mention was a big thank you to the guys at Bike Scene who put the bike together to the exact spec i wanted and were even happy to swap bits around from the stock build kit such as all the red colour cordination etc.... the coustomer service was second to none and i cant recomend them high enough.

I've just been looking at things to match my red X0 and then I spot your Noir cranks and hope etc

Be interesting to weigh mine, see how the two compare

Really fancy a LTc but the weight saving over my LT2 is nothing so its not worth it. BTW my LT2 is almost the same spec.
  • Gorgeous though it is, that does seem pretty heavy for a carbon wonder bike. :?
  • i have same bike but weighs in at 25lb only my spec is:
    fox rlc120's
    xo shift & derr.
    cobalt wheelset
    monkeylite carbon bars
    tubeless nevegals
    fsa carbon team chainset
    tompson post & stem

bike is AMAZINGLY light, stiff & confidence inspiring, its wierd, i ride my local circuit & after thrashing my 'old' mount vision round my best time was 49 mins, & that was thrashing it,
my first ride round on mine it felt like was riding slow, i got back & had knocked 2 minutes off without even pushing! its one incredibe bike & i agree u deserve it mate enjoy!
  • i weighed the bike on an old set of fishing scales from when i was a kid so there prob not reading true, i will get on a set of digital scales soon but unfortunetly its now gone to bed is im returning to Afghanistan to finish off my tour but back in time for lots of summer riding!!!! cant wait to take it to wales to its natural hunting ground.

  • i did a 60km ride the other day and i got to say this saddle is a killer! was like trying to sit on a hot iron but then again ive only just brought it so the saddle and my arse have not been properly introduced yet!!! i'll give it a few more rides before deciding to replace it or not.
