While I think it's absolutely right that someone gets cautioned for driving in a cycle lane, why is this news in this country ?

Oh yes, because she's a "celebrity" - followed by in-depth description of what she's wearing.

Exactly.. future note to any driver parking on a pavement or running over cyclelanes.. you can get away with it if you have nice shoes on.

At least she got her wrist slapped... can anyone cite any instance of that happening in the UK? Thought not...

She has the same job as Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.

Unless you have seen The video, then you would know she does most things

Bus lane yes, cyclelane no. :D

Only when it's caught by a camera though, there's no form of real policing going on.

No. Real bobbies in a real car. I'm walking past a bus stop in city center and this kid in his first car gets pulled and flashed over. Early winter last year, kid gets out - no shirt on, so the copper starts doing other searches and checks.

Ohhhhhh busted young man. You can't pretend not to know who she is and then make a joke about posh birds knowing each other.

She's not, by the way. I wouldn't touch her with a bargepole. :)
