hope bleeding problems

a few days ago i purchased a proflex 957 to fix up and restore, most parts are fine but the back brake has no power whatsoever,
the brakes in question are hope c2. im no expert but id guess they are 8-10 years old.
now i have followed numerous guides on bleeding hope brakes but to no avail.
after each cycle (open nipple, lever to bar, close nipple, release lever) the fluid should drop in the resevoir. it doesnt. which would indicate a blockage or something, lever lines and callipers are blockage free i just cant get the damn think to work!
any ideas chaps?

strip and have a look at the seals."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

ok sounds like the next logical step,
any explinations as to why the reseviors not dropping?0 -
or it has a air lock. make sure the pads are out and the calliper in a bucket/container on the floor and just let the fluid drain out. (nipple out as well)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

ahhhh
try pressurising the fluid into the hose. lots of pumping and then holding the lever down release the nipple.
repeat repeat repeat repeat"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
